NCHA Care and Support’s call and response team offer a wide range of assistive technology designed to help vulnerable individuals maintain their independence, by giving them the support and assistance they need to live life to the full.

We offer a wide range of telecare solutions to promote independence for customers living in their own homes.

We all use technology in our everyday lives, to make our lives easier, and assistive technology is no different. It is a simply way to help maintain independence and improve life quality.

Our aim is to make assistive technology accessible to all who need it, and make the process of applying as simple as possible.

Our team provide support to customers through a range of assistive technology aids. Our vast selection of aids are available through our partners, Tunstall.

Available aids include:

  • Carbon monoxide alarms
  • Medication dispensers

A tailored package

Our support package will be tailored to your specific needs and can include a mobile response service, for additional peace of mind and security.

SMaRT operates a 24/7 service, 365 days a year. We offer a person centred bespoke support package that is designed to promote people to live independently in the community. We offer a range of assistive technology solutions, including falls detectors, smoke and door sensors. We can also provide a range of wellbeing checks, including medication prompts. We offer emotional support and reassurance, contacting of next of kin and emergency services.
