Assistive technology

'Assistive technology' might sound like a daunting phrase, but really it's just tools to help people remain independent in their homes for as long as possible.

We offer a wide range of technological solutions to support people with everything from mobility to memory loss. Our assistive technology packages all include a lifeline unit and pendant as standard. This comprises a personal alarm that can be worn round the neck or wrist, and a base unit that, when the alarm button is pressed, will call for help.

You can choose from a menu of options to suit your needs. They include:

  • smoke detectors
  • carbon monoxide detectors
  • bed and chair sensors.

We can also provide telephone support packages, whether you need reminders about your medication, or someone to talk to for emotional support. Our services are available 24 hours a day, every day of the week - it's never too late to give us a ring.

We’re here to help life be lived to the full. Download our latest brochure (PDF) for more information, including prices.

We're always working to discover what's helpful to people in their homes and in their lives. Read our assistive technology promise to learn more.
